Andrew Kim plays the electirc sitar for Dehli 2 Dublin. The BBC describes the Vancouver-based band as a "collective (that) combines dhol, fiddle and breakbeats in an Irish/Asian stew that is surprisingly varied, a marvellously wide-ranging and free-thinking concept.â JAMES MACKENZIE PHOTO

Dehlhi to Dublin rocked the Gateway Pub on Nov. 26. Combining traditional Indian music with celtic fiddles and a strong beat, there was hardly a person in the packed bar that wasn't dancing. Fred Penner made SAIT his place as he entertained students with all of his familiar sing along songs on Thursday Sept. 23 at the Gateway. Penner's show was highly interactive, and one audience member gleefully exclaimed "I feel like I'm six-years old".
